What are the dates of Viva Las Vegas?
The dates for Viva Las Vegas 16 are March 28 – March 31, 2013.
I have lost my tickets or did not receive them.
Please click on this link to recover it. Then, log in to your account and click on ACCOUNT in bottom right corner, from that link you will be able to print your tickets.
I have a ticket but it has someone else’s name on it.
No problem. We no longer need each ticket to have the attendees name. Each ticket has a unique bar code that is scanned when you pick up your wristband. The bar code can only be scanned once. Please make sure each of you has one of these bar coded tickets.
How do I cancel my ticket?
Tickets are non-refundable but can be sold to someone else. View our terms & conditions.
How do I change a name on a ticket?
If you are unable to attend VLV you can just sell your ticket to someone else. You do not need to change the name on it.
Can I buy a 1-day wristband for venues other than the Saturday Car Show?
No, we do not offer day wristbands. We may sell some on the Sunday only (subject to availability). You can buy a ticket for just the car show on the Saturday.
The VLV wristband covers you for 4 days. That is the only wristband we sell. If you only want to come for 2 or 3 days, you can but it is still the same price. We feel that we priced the wristbands at a low enough price so that even if you only come for 2 days it is not expensive.
If we do not sell out we will sell wristbands on the day. Each day they will gradually get cheaper but will be good for the rest of the event. So if you are coming Saturday for example, you will only pay for Saturday and Sunday.
We can though do a 1-day wristband on the last Sunday. Some people need to go home on Sunday morning so it releases tickets for that day. They will be $35 each.
We will be selling 1-day only car show only tickets in advance and on the day (subject to availability).
Do I have to stay in the Orleans or Gold Coast?
No. You can stay wherever you like.
Where does the entertainment take place?
All of the entertainment takes place at the Orleans Hotel & Casino.
What does the wristband include?
The VLV wristband covers you for 4 days. That is the only wristband we sell. If you only want to come for 2 or 3 days, you can but it is still the same price. We feel that we priced the wristbands at a low enough price so that even if you only come for 2 days it is not expensive. If we do not sell out we will sell wristbands on the day. Each day they will gradually get cheaper but will be good for the rest of the event. So if you are coming Saturday for example, you will only pay for Saturday and Sunday. We can though do a 1 day wristband on the Sunday. Some people need to go home on Sunday morning so it releases tickets for that day. They will be $35 each.
What does the VLV wristband get me into?
Only the full four day wristband gets you admission to all Viva Las Vegas bands, DJs, events and music within The Orleans Hotel for the 4 days. Plus admission to the VLV Car Show, all Showroom events such as Burlesque Competition, Burlesque Show, Fashion Show, Slide Show and all Pool Parties. It also enables you to enter a car into the car show.
If you do not get a full 4 Day Wristband, you can buy a Car-Show-Only wristband (that does not require you to enter a car in the car show).
Do I need a wristband for the car show?
The full 4Day VLV wristband and 4day Car Show Wristband includes car show admission. You may buy a car-show-only ticket on Saturday. Children 15 and under are free when accompanied by an adult. If you have bought a 4Day VLV wristband, then you do not need to pay at the gate and will have access every day.
What can I do for free?
If you are only interested in what is free, you are not supporting the event or the scene. VLV is very expensive to put on. This year the number of things you can do for free has been limited. All you can do is visit some of the vendors. Wristbands will be needed for all music venues and The Pool Party this year. You can buy a ticket for the Car Show only on Saturday.
How do I get my car in the car show?
Cars must be pre-registered. This can be done when you book your wristband or it can be done later. Only people who buy wristbands for Viva Las Vegas may register cars. There is no extra charge to register. See the car show page for complete details and rules.
How do I become a vendor at VLV?
We apologize, but at this time we are completely booked on vendor spaces. If you would like to be put on the wait list in case we get any cancellations, please email manisha@vivalasvegas.net with the following information:
Write your vendor name & vlv car show vendor wait list in the subject line,
In the body of the email include:
vendor name
contact persons name
phone
what you sell.
Existing vendors get right of first refusal on spaces for the following VLV. At the current event they pay their deposit for the following year. Any un-booked spaces will be released one month after the VLV to vendors on the waiting list. Prices of what is available will be given at that time. Chances of space becoming available inside the hotel are slim. There is a much better chance of becoming a vendor in the car show area.
Do I need a wristband to see the vendors?
In the upstairs area there will be a few hours each day that anyone can access the vendors. Visit the Vendor section of our website for the general public viewing hours.
How can I find out who is playing when?
Please see the bands page to see playing times of bands, or click here to print the schedule of all bands and events.
How do I enter the Burlesque contest?
You will be able to submit entries in October, November, and December. Voting takes place in January. The Top Eight Finalists go to the live competition at VLV. Four are chosen by a panel of judges and four by online voting.
Can I bring a camera or videocamera to the shows?
We have no camera or video camera restrictions at VLV. You can bring any cameras you like to the event and take them into the music venues and the car show. Occasionally, an act may ask not to be photographed or filmed. We ask that you respect their request. Please note though that hotel rules do not allow photography in the casino itself.
Can children attend VLV?
In Nevada, the law states you must be 21 to drink alcohol or gamble.
Here are the VLV rules regarding children:
- Children 5 and under are free and do not need wristbands.
- Children 6 – 12 years old are half price.
- Children under the age of 12 must leave the music venues by 10pm.
- We cannot sell tickets to 13 to 20 year olds.
- Children must be out of the music venues by 10pm each night.
If you do not want to get tickets for your children they can still access the Car Show on Saturday and some of the vendors.
In Vegas anyone under the age of 21 may not be near the bars, slot machines or gaming tables. They may only walk through the casino with their parents. If the security see you with a child by a bar they have the right to ask you to leave.
There are babysitting services in Las Vegas who will come to your hotel room. You can find these online or in the Yellow Pages.
How does the ticketing system work?
VLV has a new ticketing system which will be more reliable and will be much faster at check-in. The tickets do NOT need each attendee’s name but each person will need a ticket.
When you buy your tickets online, at the end of the process there is the option to print off your tickets. This enables you to print off your tickets and each one has a unique bar code on it. Upon arrival at VLV we will scan your barcode, check your ID for age verification and give you your wristband.
Here are the advantages:
- easier purchase
- faster checking in
- easier name changes. You can just sell the ticket or email it to someone else via your account. We do not need the names of each person.
- a lot less hassle.
You MUST bring your bar coded ticket to VLV. Without it you cannot get your wristband.
Once a barcode is scanned, it cannot be scanned a second time so if you think you can make multiple copies, only the first person to arrive will be successful.
