Thank you for your interest in covering the 2023 Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend #26.

The event will take place Thursday April 27th to 30th 2023

SUBMISSIONS BEGIN JANUARY 1st 2023.

THE DEADLINE FOR PRESS REQUESTS IS APRIL 1, 2023. ALL APPLICATIONS SUBMITTED AFTER THAT DATE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS YEAR.

PLEASE NOTE THAT PAST COVERAGE DOES NOT GUARANTEE APPROVAL FOR FUTURE PRESS REQUESTS. There are a very limited number of passes.

You must fill out the complete Press Accreditation form for consideration. VLV reserves the right to approve or deny accreditation. The decision is final and cannot be appealed.

If you are a car publication, you will only be considered to receive a Car Show Pass, not a full event pass.

We will begin accepting applications on January 1st 1st for press credentials for coverage. The final deadline to apply for press credentials is April 1st. No Applications will be considered after this date, and walk-up requests for press credentials WILL NOT be considered.

To apply for credentials, your assigning Editor/Producer must fill out the following online application form. If you are a freelance journalist, you must be on assignment from a media outlet. Photographers must also be on assignment. Spec photography, portfolio photography, and personal website photography are not valid assignments. If you are not the assigning Editor/Producer or are a freelance journalist or photographer, please forward this form to the appropriate person to be completed.

Please note the following:

1. One designated point person in your media outlet should complete this application, on behalf of your organization, for ALL personnel wishing to cover the event on behalf of the outlet.

2. Requests for accreditation will only be considered if submitted via this official online process with the online application form completed accordingly. Application requests sent by email will not be accepted.

3. As part of this online credential application, the assigning Editor/Producer MUST provide a letter of assignment on behalf of each individual attendee on company letterhead, stating the name of the journalist(s) assigned to attend and the scope of the coverage. If you are a freelance journalist or photographer, you must be on assignment from a publication and provide an official letter of assignment.

4. All media who receive press credentials for this year’s VLV are REQUIRED to mail 2 copies of their coverage to: Tom Ingram, Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend, PO Box 5940, Los Alamitos, CA 90721, as soon as it comes out. Deadline to mail coverage is September 1st. Web Links only are not accepted as coverage. If your coverage is web only, you must PRINT 2 4-color copies and mail them. If you are TV, you must burn 2 DVDs and mail them. If you are radio, you must burn 2 CDs and mail them.

PLEASE NOTE:

If you attended VLV as an accredited journalist, you must have submitted your coverage by December 1st to be in good standing. Please note that it is your responsibility to confirm with VLV that your coverage was received. If you have covered VLV in the past but recently changed media affiliation, accreditation is subject to VLV approval of the applicant’s affiliation. Your past work as an accredited journalist will be taken into account upon assessment of your application.
